They’re not supportive towards second hand users, mimicking a fake privacy policy. They just want to sell new devices, users don’t concern them.
I would recommend avoid this type of devices and this company.

I ordered the Plaud pin directly from Plaud’s website, and upon placing my order I realized that it was purple and not black. So I emailed their support team for the color change. Ricky, from their team, promptly got back to me within 20 minutes confirming that they have switched the color to black. However, upon receiving that confirmation, I somehow felt that purple was indeed nicer and perhaps meant to be the one for me, so I emailed them soon after telling them how I had a change of heart and wanted to keep the purple one. At this point I was totally expecting to get denied, or maybe receive an annoyed response… But what I heard back totally won me over.
“No worries at all — we totally understand! 😊 Sometimes, the heart just knows what it wants — and if purple is calling to you, then who are we to argue? Honestly, it sounds like purple was meant to be yours! 💜
